Permits are provided as a reference. Please contact the Health Department if there are questions about the septic system(s), the structures served, the history or limitations of the parcel, or the potential to add structures or use to the property.
If you can't find a septic permit for a particular parcel or address, please contact us. We may be able to locate it using different search methods, or we can talk about what it means for that specific parcel to not have a permit record.

Moving Around
To move the map press and hold the left mouse button on top of the map to drag it in the desired direction. You can zoom in or out using your mouse center scroll wheel, or alternatively using the zoom in/zoom out
buttons in the lower left corner of the map. Double-clicking the left mouse button will zoom into the map one step.
Search
To search for an physical addresss, parcel number (geocode), owner, septic permit number or well permit number enter it into the 'Location or Permit' search box in the upper left corner of the map. Press the enter key to begin your search.
You will see suggestions as you type your search terms. Click a suggestion to zoom to that property.

It is also possible to click on a single Septic or Well point to provide the option of showing that immediately in the dialog.
Additional Layers
You can change the layers shown in the map by opening the 'Layers' dialog. From here you can toggle the various district layers as well as overlay Polling Places, Roads, Address Points,
and Address Labels. You can view the map legend by clicking the 'Legend' tab. You can choose from an array of basemaps in the 'Basemaps' tab. You can also bookmark your location in the 'Bookmarks' tab.
Printing
You can create a 8½ x 11 PDF (either portrait or landscape) of the map view by clicking the print icon in the upper right corner of the map. Choose your print options in the displayed dialog and click 'Print'...once the
printing process completes you will see a link to open the new PDF.
